Notes on Using Bigfoot
So it’s been a week and already I’m starting to see some implementations of Bigfoot across the Tumblrverse. This post is meant to aid you in your usage of Bigfoot.
- I ask that you only keep the copyright credit at the very bottom of the page. As for the about sections, those are yours (and are now dynamically generated from your {Description}).
- I’ve noticed a lot of people copying the links from the left sidebar into the footer, however, the links on the left sidebar have an added class called “greyline”, which will not look so hot in the footer. Just copy the link URLs rather than the link div’s in order to get the look shown here.
- To customize the tag list, go to Heather River’s Tag Cloud Generator and select Font Size 16 for both Minimum and Maximum font size. Limit to top 10 tags and sort by frequency. Then just paste starting from <ul class=”tag-cloud”> to </ul>.
